Things to see on the way to AnjaneriThe main route to reach Anjaneri fort is from Anjaneri village, which is just 20 km away from Nashik. After 2 hours of journey, you may able to reach at Anjaneri Phata. This route leads to a fantastic trekking adventure through diverse scenes such as caves, lakes, healing lake and waterfalls. From Anjaneri village, you can see the two pinnacles called 'Navari' and ‘Navara’.
Just 10 minutes walk through this route will take you to the Anjani Mata temple. If you go to the left side of this temple, you can see the Seeta cave where around 10 to 15 people can stay comfortably. Also you can find many beautiful carvings inside the Seeta cave. If you choose the right way, you can see few more temples of God Hanuman and Goddess Anjani located in and around citadel.
Anjaneri has got a wide perimeter and provide you amazing views of the Vaitarna Back Waters, Brahmagiri and Trimbakeshwar Peak.
