Nasik Geography

Nasik is a city in the Maharashtra State in India. The state is located in the western part of the India. Basically in the Maharashtra state the city is located at the north-west part. Nasik is a densely populated area with about 1.5 million of the population people living in the city. It has been ranked Fourth in Maharashtra and 25th in India, in terms of population.

The famous Teak wood is founded in the forests. There are also some other woods found in the area, these are Bamboo, Indian Blackberry, Indian Butter tree.
